With Strong partnerships with GCSAA and USGA the Golf Industry Show is a must attend event for turf professionals with even a passing interest in the game.
TWCA is excited to attend the 2019 Golf Industry Show, talk about drought, and promote the benefits of living turfgrass in our managed environments.

Turf Producers International
18-20th Feb. 2019
TWCA is so excited to be attending the Turfgrass Producers International Education Conference (http://www.turfgrasssod.org/pages/events/international-conference/) in Charlotte North Carolina! TPI has done an excellent job of putting together another great conference packed with fun, exciting, and informative content.
The Schedule kicks off bright and early Monday morning 18th Feb. at 8am touring the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports, and Bank of America Stadium, home of NFL’s Carolina Panthers*. Monday also includes the First Time Attendee Welcome Reception (5-5:30 pm) and the President’s Welcome Reception (5:30-7:30pm).
Look for TWCA Research Review Committee members, Dr Doug Karcher, and Dr John Stier on Tuesday in two Breakout sessions from 1:30-2:30pm discussing “Turfgrass May Not be as Thirsty as Your Neighbors Think”; their The Lawn Institute (TLI) funded project. Here you can learn new information from the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP) and the Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance (TWCA) on cultivars that can retain green color during drought, and how soil moisture and rainfall sensors can aid smart irrigation for lawns.
Don’t forget to look for TWCA at booth #207! While you’re there, take a moment to renew your TWCA membership. To make it easier to share TWCA we’re asking sod farms to Buddy Up with TWCA at TPI. All you do is refer a friend to TWCA using the Buddy up form and you both receive 25% off your membership dues for the year! We’ve made the membership more flexible than ever. With options ranging from $100-$1000 per year, you can choose the level of commitment that best fits your needs!
Learn more about TPI at http://www.turfgrasssod.org/ and don’t forget to become a TWCA member at https://www.tgwca.org/become-a-member.html to start enjoying all the benefits membership has to offer. With more great ways to engage membership is even more rewarding!
